Due to the weather this week and resulting trail conditions, the scheduled hike has been cancelled. The following is being offered as an alternative:
Cabin fever?? Join us this Saturday on a winter walk through the sights of
Old Town Alexandria to a beautiful wildlife preserve further south of town along
the Potomac River. We will finish at the Union Street Public House for lunch
before we head back to the King Street metro-- a round trip of about 5 miles.
Please wear waterproof boots and be aware that we may encounter some tough
walking through lots of snow.
We will meet at 10 AM at the King Street Metro station, near the fare card
machines in the MAIN part of the station (there are two exits).
